Many a times it's difficult to ascertain which file extension belongs to which application. As each and every software application available there have their own system of naming file extension. Though the applications which used for same work the file extension differs based on the application used to do that job. This problem is because of no standard in file extension. File Extension QPW is one such not so popular file extension by Corel.  

QPW files are workbook or project files, which can contain one or more spreadsheets. Data is stored in rows and columns, with each individual data item contained within a single cell. Corel Corporation have a office package called WordPerfect Office which saves spreadsheet with File Extension QPW. If you have any QPW files you should have Corel WordPerfect Office suit inorder to open and edit these files.

File Extension QPW stands for Quattro Pro for Windows project file. Quattro Pro is a spreadsheet application produced by Corel, and is usually bundled with the WordPerfect Office suite.  If you want to use these files then download fully functional 30-day trial version of Corel WordPerfect Office suit from corel website. Install it. Open QPW file and save the file in any other file extension that you want to work. (for example if you are using MS-Office then save as .xls file). Quattro Pro have that option to save the file for different applications.
